Customer Service
Most people don't distrust mechanics. They distrust not knowing — not knowing what's wrong, what it should cost, or why the number moved. So the way we handle that is simple: you hear from us before anything happens, not after. Everything below is just detail on that one idea.
Keeping you in the loop
Your car is how you get to work, get the kids where they're going, and get through your week. When it's here, your week is on hold. That's why we call you as soon as we know something, not once we've finished. If a part is back-ordered, if the inspection finds something we didn't expect, if it's going to take another day — you hear it that day. Bad news early is far more useful than bad news late, because early news still leaves you time to make other plans. You'll also get an explanation you can actually use. Not a part number and a total — what failed, why it failed, and what happens if it waits. If you'd rather have the short version, say so and we'll give you the short version.
The price you approve is the price you pay
We inspect first, then quote, then wait for your yes. Nothing gets replaced before that. If we open something up and find more, work stops and we call you. You will never pick up your vehicle and find a line on the invoice you didn't agree to. And when there's a choice — a good option and a better one, or something that could safely wait until next month — we'll lay both out and let you decide. That's your call to make, not ours.
Going the extra mile
The shops people stay with for years aren't the cheapest ones. They're the ones that treat a customer like someone they expect to see again. That means telling you when something doesn't need doing. It means sorting your list into now, soon, and keep an eye on it. It means picking up the phone when you call with a question about a car we haven't seen yet. Serving Eden Prairie since 2006. We'd rather earn the next visit than maximize this one.
If something isn't right
Call the shop and ask for the manager: 952-937-2774. We would far rather hear it from you than read it later. Most problems are fixable in an afternoon if we know about them, and permanent if we don't.
A warning worth passing on: auto warranty scams
Almost everyone has taken one of these calls. A recording, or a person, claiming your factory warranty or vehicle coverage is about to expire, and pressing you to act right now. How they work. They open with urgency and a deadline. They already know your make and model — that information is easy to buy, and it isn't proof of anything. Then they ask for a card number, a VIN, or personal details to "verify your file." What to do. Hang up. A real manufacturer or insurer does not cold-call demanding a card number to keep coverage alive. Never confirm details to someone who called you — call the number on your own paperwork instead. How to actually check. Look up your dealer or insurer yourself and ask about your policy directly. Or bring your paperwork by and we'll help you read it, no charge. If you already gave them something. Call your bank and contest the charge, then file a complaint with the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov and the FCC. Watch your statements for a few months afterward. And the part they count on: these calls work because people are afraid of an expensive repair with no coverage. If that's the worry, call us and describe the vehicle. We'll tell you honestly what it's likely to need — which is usually cheaper than the fear, and always cheaper than a scam.
FAQ
Will you tell me the price before you start? Always. We diagnose, we call with what we found and what it costs, and we don't touch anything until you say go. What if the repair costs more than the estimate? Work stops and we call you. Nothing is added without your approval. Can you tell me what can wait? Yes, and we'll offer it without being asked. Everything gets sorted into now, soon, and watch it. Do you explain the repair, or just hand me a bill? We explain it. If you want to see the old part, ask — we'll show you.
